Celtic took on Inter kenmare at Christy Leahy Park. It was a very tight match with both teams playing some good soccer throughout. Both teams had good chances in the 1st quarter but with some good defensive play and some great goalkeeping it was stalemate after the1st quarter. Kenmare started the 2nd quarter stronger and 2 great saves from Alex kept the score at nil all. Celtic thought they had taken the lead when Connell Faviers free kick crashed off the bar and look to have bounced over the line but the ref waved play on. 
Celtic started the 2nd half the stronger and finally got their reward when Cian O'Connell burst through and finished to the bottom  corner. Kenmare responded well but some great defending kept them at bay. Celtic needed a 2nd and they managed to get it with 5 mins left after a corner was not cleared and Fionn Murphy smashed it home. 
It was a great team performance with all players contributing.
