Great team squad performance against our rivals Listowel Celtic who worked their socks off and were game till the end but will have better days . Special shout out to our U13 girls who contributed enormously Olga Kumor came into midfield after 30m and her composure on ball and passing was immaculate, Nell Casey came on in left wing early 2nd half and her energy and ball control was very impressive, and unfortunately our other U13 girl Leah Mannix who was a threat all through came off with an ankle injury and we wish her a speedy recovery. Sadbh O’Brien and Puttanya Ryan put in great shifts in midfield, and Ciara Forde & Niamh Brosnan were solid all through in defence.Our girl of match contenders were Keelin O’Shea who was brilliant at right back , Lan O’ Connor excellent at centre back , Ellen Allman who was imperious in midfield and controlled play all through, but our girl of match was Holly Forrest who was unstoppable upfront and took her hat trick with aplomb.
