On a wonderful evening in Mastergeeha both teams put on a great display for their family's and supporters.
Celtic were the 1st to make the break through when Sarah Warren played a lovely ball through for Holly Forrest who finished superbly.
Not to be outdone Kenmare struck back with a well taken goal right on half time.
Halftime 1-1
2nd half went to Celtic, Ali Bowler quickly grabbed her 1st goal of the game with a great strike from just inside the box, not to be outdone the very skillfull Hannah Casey got in on the act and made it 3-1 when she beat 2 players and unleashed a great shot.
Ali Bowler beat the offside trap for her 2nd goal which she calmly slotted into the far corner.
Lauren Buckley who had played the 1st half on the right wing was brought back on for the last 20mins in a midfield role and quickly put her stamp on the match with some amazing skills and then made a great run into the box and smashed the ball into the roof of the net.
I have mentioned the goalscorers but without the rest of the team giving them the chances this win wouldn't have been possible, 1st off Tara Cronin who has been outstanding all season and has played as No1 keeper for the u16s/u17s and senior ladies, we will never be able to thank her enough for what she done.
Captain Grainne Kelliher was again outstanding and proved what a true leader she is, Ciara Casey, Emily Buckley and Sadhbh Curran were so determined to win everything that came their way, a true master class in defending by them all.
Sarah Warren, Zoe Counihan, Neveen O'Sullivan were outstanding all game, and then when girls needed a rest we had Lan O’Connor, Caoimhe O'Sullivan, Ciara Forde and Michelle O’Connor to bring on and each one took up from where their teammates left off.
👏We are so proud of these players and delighted that their hard work all season has paid off with silverware.
