The loss of someone close is always deeply painful, but the passing of one so young is truly heartbreaking. To say the Club is devastated does not fully capture the shock and sorrow being felt throughout our entire community today.
Ewan came from a family with a proud and long association with Killarney Celtic. He was a vibrant, kind-hearted and well-liked young man who was greatly valued by his teammates, coaches and everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. His loss leaves an enormous void both on and off the field.
At this incredibly difficult time, our thoughts and prayers are with his parents David and Louise, his sister Amber, grandparents David Snr & Sharon and Tom & Breda Holohan, godmother Lauren, godfather Ian, along with his aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, neighbours, team and wide circle of dear friends.
We cannot begin to imagine the pain and heartbreak they are enduring, and we offer them our deepest and most sincere condolences.
May Ewanβs gentle soul rest in peace.
