We are constantly improving our facilities. During the 2017-18 season we resurfaced the small astro turf and completed ground works to the grass playing pitch. This year we carried out substantial works
to our generators that operate the flood lights and we installed 2 sets of ball stop netting behind theĀ goals. The club has also recently reviewed plans for the triple purpose use of CCTV cameras as a video
analysis resource and for social media video highlights from games.
Further development plans include, undertaking Accessibility assessments, energy assessments with SEAI/KCC Energy officer on lowering carbon emission. We are aiming to relay our main all weather pitch
in 2022.
The management of Killarney Celtic have been in discussion with the County Council who own adjoining lands in terms of future use. The club has engaged MOSCA Architects to design a new indoor facility
primarily as an all year and all weather resource for our football, for all players and community groups, like Kerry Stars. This facility will be used by other targeted groups like Walking Football for seniors.
Other planned developments include expansion of the club house to add a new meeting and player facility, fitness and treatment rooms and to provide improved accessibility.
