Kevin Prunty is our Official Club Therapist at Killarney Celtic FC for the 2019/2020 season.
Kevin is a fully qualified Neuromuscular Therapist or NMT and holds an MSc and teaching qualification. A former FAI League of Ireland therapist for Monaghan UTD under Mick Cooke and Roddy Collins. He saw the Mons (and The Rod Squad) battle over 6 years from 10th place in division one, to promotion to the Premier League in 2010. Kevin says;
“The most memorable part of Monaghan UTD, apart from the wins and losses, were their famous Mon Dogs. I’ve yet to find anything that comes close!”
Kevin has taught NMT nationally and internationally to other health professionals and complete beginners alike since 2008. He has also previously worked with Monaghan and Cavan at Club and County GAA.
In the clinic, Kevin treats everything from carpel tunnel and sciatica to lower back, neck and shoulder pain, and likes to think that NMT offers a different perspective to the traditional approaches.
